The installation of a corner an advancement of the ignition is established very precisely in the moment of the production of the car. The agreement is necessary after the removal of the distributor of the ignition or a belt of gear of the walk.

Before the check it is necessary to satisfy the next conditions:

  – the motor has to be heated;
  – in motors with the carburator, the vacuum tube has of desconectar-se of a collector and an opening of a collector is deadened by a cork;
  – the turns of wasting time will be lower than 900 revolutions per minute;
  – desconectar and a ticket inspector isolates a wire of octana.

ORDER OF REALIZATION

	1. To clear agreement etiquettes. In motors OHC to scale of the installation of the moment of the ignition (1) it is in a pulley of an end of inclination, and the rate (2) in a covering has to go with the corresponding etiquette in a pulley.
Prevention Two alternative types of a pulley are applied with different etiquettes. In motors V6 be reduction of that in a pulley, and the scale of the installation of the moment of the ignition is in a covering.
3. An estroboscópio adheres to a wire of high voltage of 1 cylinder and besides that according to the maintenance education.
4. To begin the motor in the way of wasting time and directing the light of an estroboscópio to etiquettes. The etiquettes will be at the place and to go with the rate in the necessary angle of the installation of the ignition.
5. For the agreement of the moment of the ignition to stop the motor, to weaken a pin of the fixation of the distributor of the ignition, to turn the distributor and to hold tight a pin of fixation. For an advancement of the ignition to turn the distributor in reverse sense to the movement of the pointers of the clock and vice-versa. To begin the motor and to check repeatedly the agreement of the moment of the ignition.

MOTOR OF DOHC

The installation of a corner of an advancement of the ignition does for the ESC II or EEC IV block to itself, and no additional regulation is possible.
