7.3.1. Technical characteristic

GENERAL INFORMATION

The transmission A4LD automatic has four transfers of the advancement and transfer of a support. During the advancement the lever of the dislocation of gear can maintain four positions: "D", "3", "2" and "1". In models of the first launch of the situation "D" and "3" also "D" if they indicated how "OF". Besides, this lever can maintain more three additional, appropriate position: "P", "R" and "N". the 4th transfer is nadperedachy (it has the speed of increase of number of transfer).

The launch of the motor is possible only during the installation of the lever of the dislocation of gear in the provisions "P" or "N". The security operation does the impossible launch of the motor if the lever of the dislocation of gear is in another situation.

The provisions are indicated on the lever of the dislocation of gear located in a floor of the car. In the situation "D" dislocation of gear happens automatically in all the variety. The automatic choice of the transfer depends on the speed of the movement, nevertheless there is a possibility of the commutation of the transfer for the driver in more lowest pressing of a pedal of a gas pedal against the stop (I lower kick) in the provision of the very opening of a valve of butterfly of the carburator.

To brake for the motor is done in the provisions "1" or "2".
